Some stormwater drainage systems are installed under roads with frequent heavy truck traffic. Standard covers may not provide enough strength for these demanding conditions.

Our Heavy Duty Ductile Iron Cover is designed for high-load environments. We use thicker castings and optimized rib structures to improve load distribution. The product maintains a 400 kN load capacity and is suitable for main stormwater drains, logistics yard drainage, and factory road drainage.

It can withstand continuous pressure from large vehicles for many years. The reinforced structure maintains stability and helps prevent cracking, deformation, and settlement under heavy loads.

We supply this heavy duty ductile iron cover together with a complete ductile iron frame. The frame and cover are produced through the same manufacturing process to ensure accurate matching and reliable installation.

They fit together with precise gaps, allowing the cover to remain level with the road surface after installation. The design helps prevent tilting, movement, and noise during vehicle operation.

The frame includes integrated anchors at the bottom. These anchors lock into the concrete foundation and help prevent frame movement caused by road settlement.

For stormwater applications, ductile iron provides excellent corrosion resistance. It maintains strength even in wet environments or areas with standing water. The round design also makes opening and closing easier, allowing one person to operate it with minimal effort.
